I have to admit it’s pretty amazing to literally be able to hold a piece of history in my hands. This is the family Crest of the McCoun family and it’s over 180 years old. William T. McCoun was the original owner of our home and an extraordinary man. It reads “Always be Ready”, which are words he lived by.
