There were times I thought we weren’t going to make it to the finish line

Hi all! here are a few pics of our roof after we bought the house! It was in the worst shape ever! There were times I thought we weren’t going to make it to the finish line and I would just sit and cry. The question “why did you buy this house?” Kept creeping into my mind and it would keep me up at night. It was literally the house from the movie “ The money pit” except we had three small children to worry about on top of trying to restore an old abandoned mansion. It felt like an impossible mission with no end in sight. But…. We made it! We still have so much more to do but at least the roof situation on the house is behind us!

We still have to fix the barn and extra house though. Baby steps!
