My dear friend Jerry Bauer gifted me with this amazing English sideboard From the Regency. It’s about 200 years old and a perfect piece for my house. Let me give you a little back story on how Jerry and I met.

Jerry and I met through Facebook a few years ago after I posted a picture of the cemetery on our property in the “Our old house” Facebook group. When he saw the photo, he instantly recognized it because he grew up in the house next door to it. He sent me a direct message and told me that he grew up next door to our house! He told me details that only someone who had been here would know. He hasn’t lived in NY for at least 20 years or so but over the last few years we’ve become really good friends and we text each regularly. He is such an amazing person and I just adore him.

Last week he surprised us and made an 8 hour trip to give Frantz and I this glorious gift!!!!
