Late night post! I had to share this picture I took of these beautifull bumblebees on our Lavender plants this morning. We planted them because they are beautiful and because they smell amazing! Whenever there is a light breeze you can smell the aroma from the lavender. Last year when we planted the lavender, I had no idea that it would be such a crowd pleaser and a favorite amoung the bees! In 2018 This property was full of overgrown grass, loads of poison ivy and ticks everywhere. Now, it’s a buffet of food for pollinators and critters. If you just stop and pay attention to all the beauty around you, you’ll start to notice and appreciate little moments like this. Capturing a photo of bumblebee collecting pollin is such a gift.
